Terms of Sale
Kids
Reserving a kid in the fall is the best way to ensure you get the kid you want in the spring. Reservations are $50 and a first and second choice are recommended. You may pay your deposit by check, money order, or Paypal. If your choice of kid is not born from your first or second choice doe then you have the option of picking another kid that is available, applying your deposit to a kid the following year, or requesting a refund. Deposits are non refundable after your kid is born and you have been notified. Payment for kids and pickup is expected within 14 days of notification, unless you make arrangements for boarding. Payment at pickup is CASH only unless you are a repeat buyer. All additional costs for shipping and health certificates are the responsibility of the purchaser but we will do all we can to help you make the arrangements and keep costs low. Shipping is from Roanoke International Airport, in Roanoke, VA. Guarantees on kids are limited to breeding soundness as confirmed by a veterinarian or another breeder of our acquaintance. If you want to know exactly what your goat is going to look like when it freshens you may want to consider purchasing a milking doe.
Adult Animals
Mature bucks and milking does are sold as is on the day of purchase. These animals have proven that they are able to reproduce and in the case of does, produce milk. We are planning on retaining several doe kids this year and know we cannot keep them all when they freshen in the spring. If you would like to be put on a list for milkers that will be available after kidding season is over, please let us know.
